Cherushii-san and I have been gradually getting through the first season... I had forgotten how entertaining this show is. I love it.

We must continue in the near future... You've gotten me re-hooked.
Such a fun show... I appreciate that they can make fun of themselves too. They don't take themselves seriously at all. They have whole episodes making fun of previous episodes... it's great.

We must get to season 5 before you leave. It's one of my favorites. :D

Yeah, we should do that.

Have you made it to season 5 of Lost, yet?

Nope. Definitely still on Season 4. No one in my household commits to anything for more than a few seconds. Ashlee says "lets watch Lost!" and 5 minutes later she's disappeared and doesn't come back.
And unlike SOME people... I'm trying not to get too far ahead of her since we said we'd watch it together. *stare*

I made no such promises, but discovered that apparently that is implicit...

I don't mind watching TV on my own, at all.

I just get... bored. With the exception of anime. But even that I get bored after a while if I'm not watching with someone else. I don't typically ever watch TV at home unless someone else has it on and then I usually am doing something else and not really paying attention. Not actually a huge TV fan. I just find it's a decent way to be social when I"m not feeling particularly social. The whole "quality time" love language thing. You're in the same room with me, enjoying the same show, so we must be on good terms. Think I learned that one from my Dad's antisocial tendencies... only way I could do anything with him half the time. But yah. I have a few shows i like... but it's not the end of the world if one day I just stop watching them and never ever go back to them...
Either that or i buy them on DVD and watch them at my leisure as I find other people who have mutual enjoyment.

We should record our favorite Stargate quotes here.
The lastest: (Season 2)

Sam: " I might be a booby trap..." Teal'c: "Booby..."

Teal'c: "Undomesticated  equines could not remove me."

Sam: " It might be a booby trap..." Teal'c: "Booby..."
Oh God, this was great.

SE 01 EP 17

[While lying together to share body heat]
Sam: "Colonel...?"
Jack: "It's my sidearm, I swear..."

Col. O'Neill: Oh, I got in a little wrestling match with Carter.
    Dr. Jackson: Why?
Col. O'Neill: I guess she's got whatever Johnson's got. Had to drag her off to the infirmary.
Dr. Jackson: What, did she start a fight with you, like Johnson did with Teal'c?
Col. O'Neill: No, she, uh, tried to seduce me.
    [pause]
Dr. Jackson: Oh. [pause] You poor man...

    Teal'c: Col. O'Neill?
Col. O'Neill: [imitating Desi Arnaz] Lucy, I'm home!
    Teal'c: I am not Lucy.
Col. O'Neill: I know that. It's a reference to an old TV—never mind, open the door.
Teal'c: I will summon the doctor.
Col. O'Neill: No, come on. I'm fine. I'm back to being myself. Just open up.
Teal'c: I cannot be certain that you are back to being yourself. You referred to me as "Lucy."

Col. O'Neill: Shak'l thinks we're unarmed, Apophis thinks he's invulnerable.
Dr. Jackson: And... they're right. I think I found a flaw in your plan.

[Carter is looking at the healed abdomen of O'Neill, who has no memory of past events]
Capt. Carter: Wow! It's a miracle!
    Col. O'Neill (confused): Crunches.

So good when Teal'c tries to tell a joke in Season 3.

Ally: Listen, you're a sitting duck down here.
Teal'c: And ducks are bad?
Ally: Um... the sitting kind are.
