Sometimes i have my headphones on with nothing playing....
What stupid things do you do in public?
|
It'll be no use their putting their heads down and saying "Come up again, dear!" I shall only look up and say "Who am I then? Tell me that first, and then, if I like being that person, I'll come up: if not, I'll stay down here till I'm somebody else"

Isn't that a tactic to keep annoying people from talking to you?... or to listen into peoples' conversations without them realizing that you can hear them? lol
Hmmm... I know there's gotta be a lot of things I do but I am pulling up blanks right now...

The things I do are more pathetically embarrassing than entertainingly stupid.
As far as the headphones go, though... that can be nice. I appreciate the synthetic silence they can create at times. And the people around you just assume you're listening to something rather than deliberately blocking them out.

I just realized I've been sitting here for half an hour with headphones in. And no music playing.

I have! Its an exhilarating feeling... before you hit the coffee table and end up splayed on the floor >.< I get caught talking to myself, or switching accents mid-conversation <- the chance of this rises exponentially the longer I'm in public (to Irish) or if I've been/am talking to someone with an accent. Nearly switched to austrian when I was talking to Mike on wednesday, that would've been... awkward.

Yeah I was at Gloria Jeans with my earphones in (or Lexi's) not listening to anything for about 2 hours, earlier today. Reading Daring to Live on the Edge. Party party! Especially while the gorgeous blond Nathan was working today..

That sounds kind of boring.
More exciting than my day, though. I played Halo.

I suck at Halo. I try so hard... I can never find people on certain maps though and have horrible aim.
Any luck becoming facebook friends with the "gorgeous blonde Nathan" at Gloria Jeans yet Kat? ha ha.
What's sad is I think you all had more exciting days than me... I baked, chatted on skype, signed some postcards, and that's about it. Pretty much the same routine every day after reception...
