I thought it might be fun to have one of those threads where you can just post about random, everyday stuff...like people used to use before Twitter was invented ;)

To introduce myself - I live in the UK and am at university here.  I love to travel and take photographs.  There are many places I want to see.  I like movies, pubs and looking at the stars.  I'm grateful for my family, friends and the many material blessings I have.  Also, I'm a Christian.

Oooooo we can introduce ourselves on this page! (I don't believe in twitter therefore it does not exist)

I am Stephanie, I am a born and bred Australian. I love fashion, op shopping, adventures, the beach, the internet (google has brought me great peace in answering my many random daily questions) art, music, Japan and all Japanese related things excluding whaling and I am also a Christian! Although I prefer the term........Chris-ti-aaaan it just sounds a little more well french i guess, like how Nero says it in one of those terrible 80s movies! OOOO I also love the 50s and wish we could bring elements of it back. I also love random quirky indie films and awkward moments. I thrive off awkwardness.....

It'll be no use their putting their heads down and saying "Come up again, dear!" I shall only look up and say "Who am I then? Tell me that first, and then, if I like being that person, I'll come up: if not, I'll stay down here till I'm somebody else"

I just went shopping... it's dumb. I need to pay off my staff fees, but I also have to buy groceries. I suppose I could eat a lot less than I do...

Oh yeah, I'm Aaron, of course... uh... yeah. I love music. Love it. Live in Australia, spend about 12 hours a day online, unfortunately, and hate about 8 hours of it.

Hello! My name is Tabi, I live in Alaska, I enjoy reading British literature, and I love my Saviour! I spend waaaayyyy too much time on the internet.... though not nearly as much as Aaron... and am going to Uni for Graphic Design. Forums are addicting, use with caution.

Currently, I am getting ready to install Snow Leopard on my macbook ("Lizzie") and am hoping all goes well.

I crochet.

Nice to meet you!

Hi there. I'm Duckie, I'm somewhat infamous for always being on facebook (and spamming updates like nobody's business...), I'm an Irish descended Australian, which is my excuse/explanation for seamlessly switching accents mid-conversation.  ;) I like the beach, sailing, volleyball, doing crazy stuff, being sober and not sleeping around. Oh, and I'm Christian. I'm currently killing time before my one and only uni class today at 2pm. Hehe.

That's about all, really... oh wait... anime, Harry Potter, and pirates.

Sporting Harry Potter's broom since '97.

Hey all,
I'm Cristiana, from Canada. I'm a full blooded German descendant, which makes me suborn at times. ;) I like sun, rain, and moonlit nights, being outside and learning about random things (usually involving biology in some way). This spring I graduated from uni and am currently taking some courses in the U.S. in environmental studies to get a certificate. After that we'll see what happens. :)

I'm bored as heck.

I don't want to work on this fucking website any longer... blegh.

It's not so bad, really... I'm just so tired of working on web sites.

On another note, it seems I'm now in a band.

On another note, it seems I'm now in a band.

The one you 'auditioned' for at the weekend?  I'm guessing it's metal?

I got an email today saying I have a place on a trip to Iceland in September for a week with my university. Yay!

I then found links to pages to find icelandic names (first names and surnames).

I have decided that my icelandic name will be Hjördís Vilhjalmsson.  Hjördís because it means 'sword goddess' which is just superguay (as they say in Spain) and Vihjalmsson because it's the craziest sounding surname they have, has lots of nice letters in it and only 3 vowels!

What would you choose?

No, not metal. Just... rock.

What would you choose?

Just Bjorn.

When I do, yes.

The subject never really came up, I honestly don't know. Maybe I will on Monday.

So... it kind of bugs me that I'm pretty sure I actually know some of you guys. But I don't actually know whether I know you or not. I guess that doesn't matter and its one of the beauties of forums.

But... just wanted to put it out there. Reason #6435234 that I need to go back to Townsville.

I need you back in Townsville, too.

And you definitely know a few of the people on here.

Also,  my band is called Up Goes Hollywood.
